DLC[edit]
Why is outrage over DLC worthy of its own section here? Isn't there outrage over most, if not all DLC? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.31.192.34 (talk) 13:17, 7 February 2012 (UTC) Skyrim sci fi mods.
- I was not the one who added this paragraph, however what is specific is that the DLC was discovered even before the game shipped, meaning that the code was already in the box but you had to unlock it. A lot of game medias covered this because it explicitly put used games buyers aside. I'm not pro or con, but if you type amalur pass, you will have hundreds of valid sources covering it. By the way, I took the liberty to add a title before your questoin, because it was in the previous 'File:991143 161068 front.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion' section. Hervegirod (talk) 00:31, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Why is it not an outrage worthy of giving EA a great big FU! instead of just shrugging and saying meh each time they (and so many others in this increasingly douch-ey industry) keep fleecing and hurting people who actually bought their game.If we as gamers had any sense we should throw goddamn molotovs on their cars for all this dlc garbage instead of even whining about a sub section on the wikipedia of all things, grow a spine will you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.105.5.91 (talk) 15:36, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
- I would recommend that you stay away from editing articles, such as this one, where you have such a strong POV. The purpose of Wikipedia is to spread factual knowledge; not to push a particular point of view. You are also whining about perceived whining, which is counterproductive and hypocritical. Also, don't personally attack other editors, and sign your talk page posts with four tildes 192.136.210.87 (talk) 02:39, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- That person appears to be humorously exaggerating the issue to demonstrate that the argument itself is silly. 'DLC' that isn't actually DLC but just limiting access to stuff already sold inside the box has caused controversy in the past, often garnering way more attention than the product concerned itself. If a flopped game's most memorable and biggest legacy was scandal and fueling community debate about ethical DLC, well, it is what it is. 68.183.124.21 (talk) 10:58, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Amalur (sometimes Ama Lur or Ama Lurra[1]) was the goddess of the earth in the religion of the ancient Basque people.[2] She was the mother of Ekhi, the sun, and Ilazki, the moon. Her name means 'mother earth' or 'mother land'; the 1968 Basque documentary Ama lur was a celebration of the Basque countryside.[3]

Infinite Backpacks[edit]
Find lllyn Doldran, who you meet in Mel Senshir. He is one of the merchants that sells a backpack. If you have already purchased the backpack, that's not a problem! When you meet lllyn Doldran now, kill him. The guards won't like that, but you can pay a fine to clear your name of the murder. Fast travel to Canneroc and enter your house, Gossame End. Sleep in your bed for four days, then exit the building. Fast travel back to Mel Senshir and find Illyn Doldran again. Yes, he's alive (and he has another backpack for sale). You can repeat the process as often as you like to amass a pile of backpacks that you can use to store your items.

Pet Glitch (The Legend of Dead Kel DLC)[edit]
Start by obtaining three pets. Then talk to Cillian Keen and select the 'I want a trained beast' option. He'll tell you that you need to release one of your pets. Select the 'Raise pets?' option and let him finish talking. Once he does so, you'll see that the 'Release pet' option is gone and the 'I'd like a pet' option has replaced it. Taking advantage of the glitch will allow you to train more than three points at once, up to the total of seven.

Easy Additional EXP[edit]
Make Corgan Hold available for fast traveling. It is in the western edge of Tala-Rane, in the Plains of Erathell. Just inside the door of Corgan Hold is a shrine that gives +20% XP for a limited time. Activate the shrine, head back outside, then fast travel to your next quest or dungeon to earn easy additional XP while the shrine is active.

Turn Stolen Items into Non-Stolen Items[edit]
Take stolen items to a merchant (fence) that buys stolen merchandise. Sell the item and without exiting the Buy/Sell screen go back to Buy. Now scroll down to Sold Items and buy the item back for the same amount you sold it. The Red Hand icon will now be gone.

Easy 'Juggler' Achievement / Trophy[edit]
This requires both a bow (preferably of weaker stats) and a longsword. You must know the move Upheaval for the long sword as well which is one of the first and most useful sword moves in the game. All you do is perform an Upheaval and fire arrows into the now airborne target and you have your Achievement/Trophy.

Cheap Armor and Weapon Repair[edit]
When you need your armor or weapons repaired, don't wast gold paying smiths to do the repairs (they overcharge a lot!). Instead just buy as many Repair Kits that you can find at merchants. Once you're about 10 hours into the game they should be pretty easy to find. Try to hunt down backpacks to have more room to carry them. This will save you a lot of gold, especially once you acquire rarer weapons and armor that is expensive to have repaired at a smith.

Stealth Chest Looting Exploit[edit]
If you are trying to loot a chest while in stealth mode but the percentage of being caught is too high/risky, simply press 'B' to back out of the chest inventory and then press 'A' to loot the chest again. You'll see that the percentage of risk has dropped. You can keep repeating this process until you have zero risk of being caught.

Manipulate Random Loot[edit]
You can manipulate loot in dungeons/houses and possibly other places in Amalur.
When you enter the area all loot is randomly generated in the chests/enemies, so SAVE before entering a house/dungeon.
If you find items that you don't like or don't need, reload the save. But remember ALL LOOT IS RANDOM. Good luck manipulating!

Easy Lockpicking Without Spending Points[edit]
Don't hold 'D' while picking locks, tap it fast to advance and if you see lockpick slightly moving - stop and change lockpick position. Start from left or right and when lockpick is about to brake (it will twitch) stop and try again after you moved him for 1/4 of a scale. Practice several times to master. No need to spend attribute points on lockpicking.

Easy Ring from Well of Souls[edit]
When starting the story mode, you are asked would you like to skip the tutorial. Choose 'don't skip' and play the demo all the way to the rock troll and defeat it. By looting the troll, you will receive a ring that you wouldn't get by skipping the tutorial.
